More than 60 volunteer agents took a federally sponsored pilot test exam on June 29th, administered by CENEVAL, the National Center for Evaluation. The Bay’s three AMPI chapters organized the pilot test as a part of their ongoing efforts to advance the professional skill standards required in the Bay of Banderas area real estate business. AMPI is the National Association of Real Estate Professionals. The pilot test was given in preparation for the official CENEVAL exam at a date soon to be announced. The realtors who pass the exam will then be issued a Professional Credential (Cedula Profesional) which is the highest form of government certification. Organizers for the test were David Pullen of PV Realty, president of AMPI Puerto Vallarta, Tere Kimball of Prudential Vallarta, president of AMPI of Bucerias and Juan Jose Martinez, President of AMPI Compostela.
