The Metropolis Group, a real estate financing and fund management company based in Allendale NJ and Guadalajara, Mexico, completed the first of several planned investor tours of Vallarta in March. About 30 pre-qualified investors were flown in from around the U.S to the Sheraton Bouganvilias, where they received an all-inclusive red carpet treatment and coach tour of selected real estate developments around Banderas Bay. Mr. Jason Sherburn, Managing Partner of the Metropolis Group said, “Our investor clients are selected from real estate investment groups in the US. We negotiate large discounts with our partner developers to pre-sell and finance the purchase of units that are planned and approved but not yet built. The goal is to give our clients well-rounded investment portfolios of short-term equity growth or long-term appreciation with rental income and at the same time give a sales boost in the pre-construction phase. We train the developer’s sales staff to initiate the loan process by completing a consumer ‘credit check authorization’ and a ‘loan application’. We take care of the rest, including ordering an appraisal. This way we can process and close loans in 30 days or less.”
