About AMPI
The Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals, A.C. is comprised of an exclusive group of real estate brokers and agents in the Republic of Mexico who are committed to upholding the highest standards of practice of the association's Code of Conduct. AMPI membership denotes a guarantee of professionalism, moral solvency and ongoing professional education. |
Education
AMPI chapters sponsor various meetings, conferences and educational programs for its membership and for the public, in order to share the broad experience accumulated by member realtors of this Association. The requirements for becoming a member of AMPI - Puerto Vallarta are the most intensive in Mexico, involving all members to have educational training as a prerequisite.
Legislation
AMPI's National Directors and Regional committee heads actively participate in the legislative process pertaining to Real Estate issues with Federal, State and Municipal authorities. As well, AMPI has an Honors and Justice committee to self-regulate its members, as there is no required licensing at this time in Mexico for real estate agents.
Multiple Listing Service
Producciones Viva S.A. de C.V. provides a print and on-line multiple listing service for members of AMPI Puerto Vallarta and AMPI Banderas Bay. This service has been in effect 1989 and is the longest running MLS service in Mexico.
