Realtors Host AMPI-NAR Conference

More than 450 real estate agents from throughout Mexico and the U.S. toured the Bay of Banderas area on Wednesday, October 31, according to an announcement by the three Bay area A.M.P.I. chapters.

A.M.P.I. is Mexico’s National Association of Real Estate Professionals and NAR is the National Association of Realtors in the U.S. “It is both an honor and a great opportunity for our area to have been selected for this Annual Conference,” said Tere Kimball.  “This is the largest event of its kind ever organized in Puerto Vallarta.”  Kimball is president of the A.M.P.I. Riviera – Nayarita chapter and the Broker/Partner for Prudential California Realty, Vallarta Division.  David Pullen of PV Realty is President of A.M.P.I - Vallarta and Juan Jose Martinez leads the Compostela A.M.P.I chapter.  The three A.M.P.I. presidents and their teams worked for more than three months to organize the Realtors’ Tour.  More than 20 A.M.P.I. affiliates from the three local chapters have volunteered to assist with the event. The visiting realtors arrived by cruise ship and were taken to the Westin Resort and Spa for a morning conference, breakfast and exhibit, followed by a tour of both north and south shores of the Bay.  Kimball said, “This really opens the Banderas Bay area market to highly qualified agents from Mexico and the U.S.  Many of them have never been to Puerto Vallarta before.”
