(VLPG) has been actively publishing in the Costa Vallarta region since 1988. We offer a wide range of services, facilitating the connection between visitors who want to know more about the destination and local businesses that want to promote their products and services to them. We were fortunate to get in early so that today, our publications, both print and web, dominate their marketplaces.
The Costa Vallarta region has been one of the fastest growing regions of Mexico for many years now, and VLPG has played a vital role in this growth. We are the experts that businesses come to when the want to successfully promote their products or services in this region.

A.M.P.I.
AMPI is the association for real estate professionals in Mexico. There are currently three chapters of AMPI in this region: AMPI Puerto Vallarta, AMPI Riviera Nayarita and AMPI Compostela. The association publishes ethical and fiduciary standards that its members are required to maintain, providing assurance that the often complex Mexican real estate transaction is less likely to go awry through a lack of due diligence on the part of the real estate professionals. In addition, AMPI standards require that their associates be involved in the community they are servicing. Among the requirements for membership in AMPI, there is a need for 100 hours of continuing education and testing, and foreigners working in real estate must be approved to do so by immigration. Another key advantage that AMPI brokers have over their non-AMPI colleagues in this market is access to the Multi-List Vallarta service.

Multi-List Vallarta
Since 1988 Puerto Vallarta has had its own MLS system (Multiple Listing Service), the first of its kind in the country. It began as just a printed monthly catalog of all exclusive homes, condominiums and lots available for sale, but today it is available online in a number of different formats, including this website. Multi-List Vallarta is produced in agreement with the regional AMPI chapters and the Vallarta Lifestyles Publishing Group. The service is only available to members of these AMPI chapters.

Multi-Dev Vallarta
In 2001 an additional MLS service was created for real estate developments in the region. Only properties that exist and can transfer titles are allowed in Multi-List Vallarta, which made it difficult for developments trying to pre-sell the products. Multi-Dev was created specifically for new developments in the region and it now works seamlessly with Multi-List Vallarta, available for all members of MLV to access and available for the public to view at VallartaRealEstateGuide.com.
